Chelsea to sign Ajax midfielder in Big million deal: Chelsea have been linked to midfielders and forwards in the transfer window and they have signed several players so far.

Chelsea have bid £43m for Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez, while they are still in search of a forward and midfielder before the transfer window closes. Tuchel spent nearly $268m by this summer already 

The Chelsea boss was disappointed with his players. In particular, he criticized them for being soft on defense and suggested they try to find a new center back. He might have trouble, though, getting Alvarez from Ajax as they’ve lost many star players this summer.

The Dutch champions have already let good players like “Noussair Mazraoui, Ryan Gravenberch, Lisandro Martinez and Sebastien Haller” leave this summer. Anthony will be finalizing the moves to Manchester early this week.

Due to an administrative error made by the Netherlands’ football governing body, KNVB, the transfer window closes 24 hours earlier than in other European countries this summer. Chelsea completed the signing of defender Wesley Fofana from Leicester in a deal worth up to £75 million on Wednesday.

Chelsea and Leicester agreed to a fee for Fofana on Saturday. Payments are an initial £70m with a possible £5m in addons, and he will fly to the USA on Monday for his medical.

Fofana has been training with the team and is excited to start playing for the club. He came to Chelsea to win trophies, the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and more.

It’s been a busy summer for Chelsea as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the new season. They’ve already spent big on several signings, and they’re not done yet. With the transfer window set to close soon, Tuchel will have to act fast if he wants to get his desired targets. It remains to be seen if Chelsea can continue their spending spree and land all of their top targets before the window closes.
