Champions League: Robert Lewandowski bags his hat-trick as Bayern thrash Barcelona
Champions League: Leroy Sane netted a goal for Bayern Munich in their 2-0 win over Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid beat Porto 2-1 in the final minutes of the match, Sporting Lisbon thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt. Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick in Barcelona’s 5-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen at the Nou Camp.

Franck Kessie scored on 13 minutes, but the second goal was awarded to Robert Lewandowski. VAR found that a Plzen player had hit Christensen in the mid-section; however, the referee deemed it not worthy of a yellow or red card and so the Monterrey newboy was awarded his third goal for Barcelona.
Just minutes after the whistle had blown, Jan Sykora hit a pass past Marc-Andre ter Stegen to put in Czech Republic in. The goal VAR stood to allow it as well. but Robert Lewandowski did more damage with a goal off a cross by Dembele minutes later.
Poland’s top scorer, Robert Lewandowski, completed his treble in the 67th minute when he fired home a volley from the edge of the penalty area, taking his personal tally to 89 Champions League goals. The substitute Ferran Torres added a fifth goal just before the end of this match.
In Group C, Bayern Munich won 2-0 against Inter Milan with an early strike from Leroy Sane and the own goal from defender Danilo D’Ambrosio. Sporting Lisbon won 3-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt with goals from Marcus Edwards, Trincao and Nuno Santos in the second half.
In Group B, the match between Atletico Madrid and Porto had a late finish as Antoine Griezmann popped up in stoppage time to score a goal. A lengthy delay took place during the second half after Otavio was taken off injured on a stretcher.
Atletico Madrid took the lead on 55 minutes when Mario Hermoso’s shot was deflected in, only for Marca Silva to equalize from the penalty spot. With 10 men, Porto had difficulty defensively and Atletico sealed victory in stoppage time.
Late drama as Griezmann, coming off the bench late in the match to a wild celebration from the home support, scored on his first corner kick of the game. Griezmann responded with a goal much to their delight.
Club Brugge scored a goal late in the first half with defender Abakar Sylla, who won a corner and keeper Lukas Hradecky fumbled the ball into the net as he was trying to catch it
