Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has chastised his players for excessively protesting to the referee.
He has advised them to remain calm and avoid being arrested for demonstrating.
Ancelotti told the media after Real Mallorca’s 1-0 triumph that his players had no right to continue criticizing the referee.
He feels that the referee is of high calibre and young and that he should be respected.
He is young, this referee is good, there have been little things, cards, and we have complained excessively, which is not good.
I don’t like the fact that you can’t get yellow cards for protesting. He might have done a bit better, but he is a young referee with talent.
Despite committing 15 fouls, Real Mallorca players received only three bookings. Rodrygo and Andriy Lunin of Real Madrid were both booked for dissent.

Carlo Ancelotti explains why he renewed his Real Madrid contract
Carlo Ancelotti said unequivocally that he would leave at the end of the 2023/24 season, but subsequently extended his contract until 2026.
He added that the club’s and the players’ consistent support convinced him to alter his mind and sign the new deal.
I renewed since the team has been successful in previous years and continues to be successful this year.
The club notices a positive vibe between us, which is critical since the club cannot be successful without a positive relationship between the coach and the players.
Obviously, I appreciate the club for the renewal, but I also thank the players for their exceptional attitude.
I’d like to coach the squad when they open the new Bernabeu.
With this extension, I am certain that I will be on the bench when this club plays its first game at the new Bernabeu. That’s OK with me.
Carlo Ancelotti has been connected with the post in Brazil.
However, with the Italian manager extending his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, Selecao will have to search elsewhere.
