The traditional six teams in Super Smash 2022/23 will be the Auckland Aces, Canterbury Kings, Central Stags, Northern Brave, Otago Volts, and Wellington Firebirds. Northern Brave are the defending champions, with four victories apiece, while Auckland Aces and Wellington Firebirds are the most successful teams in the league.
Northern Knights and Canterbury will clash for the first time in the 18th season of the Men’s Super Smash T20 League on December 23 at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. The tournament’s double round-robin format will have 32 matches, including the final. The top three clubs will determine who advances to the playoffs. The Super Smash 2022-23 final will take place on February 11, 2023, and the elimination final on February 9, 2023.
