Cameroon’s 2022 World Cup squad has been announced and the 26-man squad includes familiar faces.
It would be Cameroon’s eighth World Cup finals, twice as many as any other African nation. But it wasn’t until 1990 that the indomitable Lions Got past the group stage. “Most of the time we were not fully prepared,” said Samuel Eto’o, the current president of the Cameroon Football Federation, who made an ominous promise: “But not this time.” Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland await the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in very close groups, so they will need all the preparation they can get.
However, they have many strengths. Cameroon’s rich tradition of great goalkeepers continued in cousins Andre Onana and Fabrice Ondoa. In midfield, Andre-Franc Zambo provides excellent poaching options alongside Angissa, Jean Onana, Martin Hongla, Olivier Ntcham and Samuel Guet. Brian Mbuemo also scored for Cameroon.
Rigobert Song has played in four World Cups but is not known to read the game carefully. He plays Vicente del Bosque as a calming presence in a team of strong characters, leaving the tactical burden to assistant Sebastien Minh. Who was only appointed in March. Are you good enough. They also attempted to turn their fortunes around by finishing third at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Strongest XI for Cameroon
Onana is a player who can strengthen the defense of Pai and Tolo and put a wedge between the defense offered by Castelletto and Nkoulou.
Furthermore, A midfield three of Hongla, Guet and Ondoa seems a realistic option. Aboubakar is Cameroon’s most active goalscorer and is likely to start in the centre, with Brentford’s Mbeumo and Lyon’s Toko Ekambi supporting him on the flanks.
Cameroon XI (4-3-3):
Hongda, Gouet, Ondoua; Mbeumo, Aboubakar, Toko Ekambi, Onana; Fai, Castelletto, Nkoulou, Tolo.
