Double cross Region Games bronze medalist Mohammad Hussamuddin progressed to the semi-finals and further expanded India’s medal count at the 2022 ASBC Asian World class Boxing Titles in Amman, Jordan on Sunday.
Hussamuddin (57kg) was facing South Korea’s Haengseok Lee in the quarter-last session. The South Korean began the front foot in the principal round, landing clean punches and saving his Indian partner under control for most of the main round.
With the possibilities of an agitated approaching, the 2022 Province bronze medalist used his experience to get back into the game and excused any such conceivable outcomes. Hussamuddin will confront the 2021 Big showdowns silver medalist Serik Temirzha in the semi-finals session on November 10.
