Big E discusses his ideal comeback to WWE. In addition to being a part of The New Day, the former WWE Champion enjoyed tremendous success as a solo artist. On September 13, 2021, Big E won the championship. He held it for 110 days, before losing it to Brock Lesnar on WWE Day 1, 2022.
The New Day member stated that before making his comeback, he wants to make sure he is making the right choice in a recent interview with TMZ Sports. He went on to say that he did not have a timetable for going back into the ring.
“It’s every one of the bones linked to another bone, so yeah which is a great thing,” replied Big E. “I simply want to choose wisely. I just want to make sure I’m making the right choice for myself because I didn’t start wrestling to wind up in a wheelchair. I appreciate you asking, but I’m afraid I don’t have a timeframe.”
Even without Big E, the New Day is still a highly popular group, but the absence of the previous champion has been felt by the supporters. Whether Big E makes a comeback to the squared circle in the future is a question only time can tell.
Big E discusses his ideal comeback to WWE
Big E of The New Day has disclosed how he would schedule his own comeback to the WWE. Due to a damaged neck, the former champion hasn’t competed since March 2022.
On March 11, 2022, Big E and Kofi Kingston engaged in a match against Ridge Holland and Sheamus on SmackDown. Holland attempted an outside move, but the member of New Day landed on his neck. After suffering the injury two years ago, the 37-year-old has still not entered the ring again.
When questioned about his ideal matchups, the veteran said that it would be enjoyable to take on Imperium with his New Day stablemates on the Sarah O’Connell Show. The easiest way to finish things, he said, would be to compete with his stablemates.
“I believe it’s probably around a six-man. In my opinion, a trios match would be the ideal way to conclude things, so let’s do it again with Kofi and Woods. They have had a significant role in my career. It’s a fantastic battle, and Imperium is making progress. I believe there’s a lot of talk,” he remarked. Big E was recently interviewed by TMZ Sports, who inquired about his possible comeback to the ring.
