Best NBA jerseys of all time
Best NBA jerseys of all time. With the 2021/22 season over and NBA kits making news right now, it’s time to figure out the top NBA jerseys of all time.
We’ve produced a list of our favorite designs and the teams who wore them over the course of the sport’s history.
The NBA uniforms, on the other hand, have undergone relatively few changes over the years, although Nike has just introduced the City Edition uniforms, which, thanks to their contemporary looks, look fantastic when worn with some of the greatest basketball shoes currently available.
Best NBA Jerseys Of All Time
- Los Angeles Lakers (1978–1999)
- Atlanta Hawks City Edition (2021-2022)
- Denver Nuggets (1982–1993)
- Chicago Bulls (1985-Present)
- Boston Celtics (1972-2014)
Los Angeles Lakers
As of right now, the Los Angeles Lakers hold the NBA record for most championships won by a single franchise, with a tally of 17.
Thus, we can’t help but think that the Lakers’ storied yellow and purple uniform is one of the best in NBA history.
We think the 1978 version is the finest because of the small but iconic change to purple in the numbers and letters, which helps the jersey stand out on the court with one of the best basketballs in hand. We believe it is one of the best.
Atlanta Hawks City Edition
City Edition by Nike NBA jerseys are a relatively new addition to the sport, but we believe they are an excellent way to tie the club to the city and its fans.
Because of that, this Atlanta Hawks City Edition jersey is the best current NBA jersey in our opinion.
The shirt is almost entirely yellow, but the swooping red hawk across the center of the jersey makes it stand out.
Denver Nuggets
Originally worn by the Denver Nuggets in the 1980s, this magnificent jersey epitomizes what it means to be retro.
The horizontal rainbow stripe that runs across the chest and serves as a backdrop to the white city skyline image is one of our favorite aspects of the kit.
The rainbow skyline jersey worn by the Denver Nuggets is one of the best in NBA history, even though the team hasn’t had much success.
Chicago Bulls
When it comes to the NBA jerseys that we believe have the best overall design, it will be difficult to top the iconic Chicago Bulls uniform made famous by none other than Michael Jordan himself.
The infamous “three-peat,” in which Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were part of a team that won back-to-back-to-back NBA titles, included the jersey as part of the team’s uniform.
The uniform itself is an amazing classic, sporting a straightforward color scheme of red, white, and black, with contrasting black lettering that is perfectly suited to Chicago’s style of play.
As a consequence of this, we believe that this jersey is one of the most magnificent to look at while it is being worn on the court and is unquestionably one of the best throughout the history of basketball.
Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are one of the most successful teams in the history of the NBA, yet throughout their lengthy history, the traditional green and white uniform has remained virtually precisely the same. Their long-term rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, are also one of the most successful teams in NBA history.
However, this does not negate the fact that it is an excellent thing. The soul of the city is wonderfully captured by the straightforward yet sophisticated two-tone design of the kit.
We are particularly fond of the version that was worn from 1972 to 2014 and had the word “Celtics” across the chest, as opposed to the “Boston” branding that was used prior to 1972 and has since been changed.
