Welcome to the best and worst of RAW prior to Survivor Series WarGames, which will take place on November 21, 2022. One of the weakest, if not the weakest, episodes of the Triple H era, it was perhaps. This will be the first time in a long time that there will be more “worsts” than “bests” in this edition.
So, there were still a few high focuses and indeed, which ought to be thought about while becoming amped up for Survivor Series. It wasn’t necessarily the best go-home show, but neither was it the worst.
This week’s RAW ups and downs are as follows:
#2.Best: The US Title feud’s star is Austin Theory
We wish WWE had started preparing for the Triple Threat match for the US Championship a few weeks ago. However, they have so far nailed it. First, Mustafa Ali has been abruptly dropped from the feud despite being tipped as Rollins’ opponent for the US Title throughout October.
Recently, Austin Theory has experienced a resurgence, and everything he has touched has become gold. He has been the undisputed star of this brief rivalry between Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and him.
We can’t wait to find out what Triple H has in store for the 25-year-old. We are now witnessing The Game’s ambitious plans for Theory come to fruition on RAW, according to rumors.
#3.Worst: A random rematch from WrestleMania 38 that no one asked for
Drew McIntyre set up a rematch from WrestleMania 38 by approaching JBL and Baron Corbin while they were playing cards. He didn’t know what to expect. While the match at WrestleMania made sense and featured an amazing moment in which McIntyre kicked out End of Days, this match didn’t.
At first, it wasn’t even a good match. However, it wasn’t all bad because it was a highlight when Akira Tozawa came out and had an “intimate” moment with JBL.
#2.Worst: Johnny’s improvement?
Johnny Gargano was supposed to watch The Miz vs. Dexter Lumis match. After injuring himself while using TikTok, the A-Lister claimed that he was not medically cleared.
That sounds stupid, but when he sent Omos to kill Gargano, it got worse. Since making their debut on Monday Night RAW, this was the worst moment for the latter.
We agree that Omos should win, but it was bad for the NXT Triple Crown Champion’s image.
#1.Best: A good main event on RAW
Asuka and Rhea Ripley, two former RAW Women’s Champions, fought again in the main event. The winner’s team would have an advantage at WarGames, so the stakes were high.
Considering how WWE is developing Rhea Ripley as the following enormous star of the ladies’ division, it ought not to be astounding that she crushed Asuka in a decent WrestleMania rematch.
At WarGames, Team Damage CTRL currently holds the advantage, whereas Team Bianca Belair does not even have a fifth player. Specifically, point number
#1.Worst: After the main event, there was no reveal
It was a little disappointing that we didn’t find out who the fifth Team Belair member was by the end of RAW. We can only imagine that it was done that way for a reason, even though it was the perfect setup.
By now, Candice LeRae would probably have been announced as the final member. However, having stars like LeRae or Chelsea Green would be a mistake, as the general public watching the main roster has no idea who they are.
It must be Becky Lynch, but there was no reveal, so RAW ended poorly.
