With a win, Tottenham moved up to third position with 29 points after 15 games, while Leeds dropped to 14th with 15 points.

Bentancur joined the Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur in January 2022.
Bentancur competed on a global scale as a part of the Uruguay U20 team that won the 2017 South American U-20 Championship. In addition to the 2019 and 2021 Copa Américas, he earned his senior appearance for Uruguay in 2017 and played for the team in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
