It appears that the 37-year-old’s tough journey will continue, as he was later diagnosed with a micro tear on one of his muscles. Nadal informed his supporters on Twitter (previously Twitter) that his latest illness was not related to his previous illness.
However, he admitted that he was no longer able to play five-set matches and that he would return to Spain for medical treatment.
The 22-time Grand Slam winner discussed in another tweet how much effort he has put in over the last 12 months.
She further said that she is disappointed in not being able to compete at the Australian Open, but she is also excited and optimistic about the future. The 14-time French Open winner thanked his supporters in his final words.

When Stiller and Nadal played doubles together
Having attended many of Rafael’s tournaments, Ben seems to be a big fan of the tennis legend. Apart from this, both of them have also cooperated in doubles games.
In 2013, during the Spaniard’s exhibition match against Juan Martín del Potro, the former requested Stiller to play doubles with him in the second set.
