Jaiswal received some advice from veteran cricketer Vengsarkar at the Vengsarkar Cricket Academy in Mumbai. He talked to Jaiswal on the value of consistency and taking advantage of every chance.

I emphasised the importance of the chance and advised him to seize it with both hands rather than let it pass. Additionally, I advised him to maintain consistency since, at this level, it is crucial. There must be a dedication that is unwavering… Things will fall into place if you put in a lot of effort and are dedicated.

His family was busy moving into their new five-bedroom flat in Thane, 13,700 miles away, hiring movers and packers, setting up the home and purchasing household goods.
While on the Kanwar Yatra, his father was watching his son’s progress on the phone and wishing him luck. He was walking from Uttar Pradesh to Uttarakhand.
Thus, it represented a fresh start for the 21-year-old.
Who had previously lived in tents, sold panipuris, climbed trees to watch IPL matches, and had once been turned away from the Azad Maidan nets.
Jaiswal, who made his Test debut, was awarded Player of the Match and helped India win by an innings and 141 runs.
