According to media reports, BCCI is thinking that they can manage Group stages in Maharashtra and the remaining matches can shift to Ahemdabad.

After the arrival of 2 new franchises of Ahmedabad and Lucknow in the tournament, the tournament will carry on for a long time.
However, in this tournament, there is a total of 74 league games. For which BCCI has an idea of Maharashtra and Ahmedabad.
Due to Corona, BCCI has selected 2 venues to conduct IPL 2022 in India.
They are Maharashtra and Ahmedabad. Maharashtra has been chosen because there are many grounds in the surrounding area.
According to reports, Mumbai’s Wankhede, Barbourne stadiums are on the list as well as Pune’s stadium is also being counted.
BCCI decided playoff games on this ground
The group stage of IPL will be played on all these grounds while the IPL playoff will be organized at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad
The Times of India source is saying,
“At present, the board is contemplating organizing the league stage in Maharashtra and the playoffs in Ahmedabad.”

“If the number of positive cases is not high around that time, the state government officials are likely to allow a crowd of around 25% capacity for this year’s IPL.”
