Pitch Report
The Docklands Stadium pitch is a superb batting surface where the ball comes off the bat. The batters find it easier to play their shots as the game goes. The surface provides something for spinners, while pacers might be useful in the second half of the game. Given that the pitch at Docklands Stadium Melbourne improves with time, chasing a total should be the preferred strategy.
