Trish Stratus, a WWE Hall of Famer, recently made fun of Bayley on Twitter ahead of their six-woman tag team match. Trish Stratus made a surprising return on RAW last week to assist Becky Lynch and Lita in their victory over Damage CTRL. Status, Lynch, and Lita were confronted by Damage CTRL on the most recent episode of the red brand because of how the match ended last week.
The six women confirmed their tag team match at WrestleMania as a result of this. Stratus announced on Twitter that she had punched her ticket to WrestleMania ahead of the high-profile match. Bayley responded that she wanted to send her back to retirement and punched the ticket in her face. She was swiftly corrected by the seven-time women’s champion, who claimed that her right hand was the one that struck.
Bayley and Damage CTRL came under heavy fire from Vince Russo.
Damage CTRL hasn’t defended the women’s tag team titles as frequently as fans would have liked since they won them.
On a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Vince Russo, the group’s former head writer, voiced his criticism of them. He stated that Damage CTRL does not seat a single person.
“Damage CTRL, these titles have done nothing. They couldn’t get these titles off of these young ladies soon enough. “You have to put a** in seats,” as the old saying went. They did not seat a single person. Because of NXT events, they remained loyal to them. Guess what? Nobody cares because they are excellent workers and good little hands.
The outcome of Lita and Becky Lynch’s championship reign and whether or not Bayley and company will defeat them and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania are still up in the air.
