India in the final test match of the two-match series here at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.
Jaydev Unadkat replaces Kuldeep Yadav in the India playing XI
There will be no room for complacency on the part of the visitors, who will attempt to dominate Bangladesh in Dhaka.
While India met most of its requirements, the team will be hoping for valuable performances from batter Virat Kohli and substitute captain KL Rahul.
Rusell Domingo, the Bangladesh coach, was disappointed by the batters’ poor shot selections and will expect the top-order to deliver.
While Bangladesh made two adjustments, India made an unexpected substitution by signing Jaydev Unadkat in place of Kuldeep Yadav.
“We’d have done the same,” KL Rahul is unsure of. To be honest, I’m not sure what to make of it at first glance.
For pacers and spinners alike, there is typically some bounce and assistance here.
We would have preferred to bat first, but we are uncertain about the outcome.
Merely require good cricket play. In the first innings, you need to bowl well.
We need to get early wickets because it does appear damp.
We made one change: Unadkat took his place instead of Kuldeep.
“Unfortunately, we made the decision to leave him (Kuldeep) out, but it’s a chance for Unadkat,” KL Rahul said during the toss.
We will bat first. In the first two hours, it will be hard.
In the event that we can deal with that, we can score well. Here, fast bowlers get some help, but batting generally benefits.
After winning the toss, Shakib Al Hasan declared, “Taskin is in for Ebadot, Mominul is playing for Yasir.”

Jaydev Unadkat has replaced Kuldeep Yadav in India’s Test squad for the first time since 2010.
Unadkat, a left-arm pacer who is 31 years old, has been added to India’s squad for the second Test in Mirpur against Bangladesh.
Unadkat’s comeback was made possible by Kuldeep, who was named Player of the Match in the first Test.
Kuldeep took five wickets in his first Test since February 2021 before adding three more in Chattogram.
At the toss, India stand-in captain KL Rahul stated, “Unfortunate decision for us to leave him (Kuldeep) out, but it is an opportunity for Unadkat.”
