On August 5, 2020, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi spread the basic gravel of the Ram Mandir. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra is currently managing the temple, which is still under construction.
The temple is being built in the Magra style and is considered a significant Hindu pilgrimage site. A total of Rs 1,800 crore has been spent so far to build the temple. As per records, till now a total donation of Rs 3,500 crore has been received for the temple while the cost of the temple is Rs 1800 crore.
