Atletico condemn hate speech after Vinicius Jr racially abused
Atletico condemn hate speech after Vinicius Jr racially abused: Good prospects in sports are often spotted at arenas. But Deepika, the newly crowned Youth national champion, was observed on her front porch.

An abandoned chicken farm next to Deepika’s home in Bangaon, Fatehabad district, Haryana, is where coach Hanuma used to train local kids. The boy, who was 10 at the time, had no clue what the group of kids with spears were planning.
She always just watched us practise. Our training facility was located just next to her home, so she frequently brought large jars of water for us to drink.
Coach Hanuma, who is recognized for developing a number of young talents from the region in recent years, reflects, “Pehle, bas paani dene kaam tha bass (Her original responsibility was to simply offer us water).
In 2022, however, Deepika has developed into a top junior thrower.
National record
At the Youth Nationals on Monday in Bhopal, the 16-year-old who holds the U-16 national record once again demonstrated her prowess by breaking her own youth (U-18) record with a best effort of 51.83m.
Only Deepika, who threw a personal best of 51.37m, qualified for the next Youth Championships in Kuwait because she was the only competitor to throw more than 50m in Bhopal.
Another one of Hanuma’s charges, Sapna, came in second to Deepika with a distance of 48.76m.
Nishi Kumari, another one of Hanuma’s trainees, came in third place with a best effort of 43.51 metres, over 5 metres short of Sapna and a full 7 metres short of Deepika.
According to Coach Hanuma, Deepika’s acceptance into his academy was not a fluke. Even though she was homeless, that wasn’t the only reason I took her in.
After everyone had left, I noticed her practising the throw on her own. This was something she never did in our presence. “I saw that she had that kind of gripping power, so I just requested her to join us for training,” recalls coach Hanuma, a physical education official with the Haryana education board.
Deepika may still be in charge of water maintenance, but she has quickly become one of Hanuma’s top students.
Deepika broke the national record for her age group with a throw of 49.31 metres in the javelin at the nationals last year, as Hanuma’s children swept the medals in the U-16 division.
The shy athlete always flashes a smile but is difficult to get to know on a personal level. She is more comfortable giving a simple yes/no response.
Statement
What does she think about revising the age requirement? “This is very, very sad.” — “Bahut achaa lag raha hai” (I feel good.) How effective was her practise leading up to the big day? “Extremely nice”
She might not be great at giving interviews, but she’s a natural at the game. There is no room for compromise. The sophisticated technique she employs allows her to achieve maximum purchase while being on the weaker end of the strength index.
During the first two years of her training, we put all of our attention on her fitness before adding in the javelin. Second-place finisher Sapna is significantly stronger than Deepika is, but she doesn’t use her arms to their full potential as Deepika does.
Remarks
It’s ideal if you stretch your arms and postpone it,” said coach Hanuma.
Hanuma believes that Deepika’s dedication and hard effort, more than her exceptional technique, are what set her apart from the competition.
It was only because of her uncle’s death that she missed a training session in the past five years. She doesn’t make an effort to leave the house, even for important events like weddings.
She’s bright and works really hard, so I think she’ll be fine,” Hanuma says.
They are both looking forward to the Kuwait Asian Championships, and Coach Hanuma is hoping that Deepika’s lower abdominal muscle issue will be resolved in time.
She taped herself and entered the contest. Since June, she’s been having issues, and the only cure is rest. Hanuma claims, “I give her breaks as our doctor instructed.”
