As per the Official details, In Asian Para Games will feature 566 gold medal events in 22 sports (across 24 disciplines) divided across a number of disciplines, including Taekwondo, Canoeing and Go, which have been included in the Games program for the first time, and Blind Football and Rowing. has not been included. India has sent its largest ever emergent to the Asian Para Games, a total of 309 athletes including 196 men and 113 women will compete in the event and will participate in 17 disciplines, including five sports – Canoeing, Blind Football, Lawn Bowls. Rowing, and Taekwondo – for the first time.
The 4th edition of the event will feature over 38,000 athletes from 45 countries. There will be competition in 22 sports events. The opening ceremony of the tournament is scheduled to start on October 22.
