Asia cup 2022: ICC has announced the window for Asia cup recently. ACC – Asian Cricket Council announced the venue and other details. It’s been 2 years since the Asia cup was canceled due to Covid-19 and many ICC tournaments being lined up. 

Now finally, the ICC has given a time frame for the Asia Cup 2022. The 15 edition of the Asia Cup will be played among 6 countries in the T20 format, unlike earlier editions. Usually, the Asia Cup is held in a 50 Over format. Due to the T20 world cup coming in a few months, the Asia Cup is organized in a T20 format. 

Teams and Squad

There will be a total of 6 teams: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, USA/ Singapore/ Kuwait/ Hong Kong. However, Squads are yet to be announced by the countries, it will be announced soon.
