Pakistan recently threatened to pull out of ICC ODI World Cup taking place next year after India refuses to travel to Pakistan.
Anurag Thakur the Union Sports Minister responding to PCB’s threat and says BCCI will be responded to it and it ODI World Cup 2023 will take place in India.
PCB recently threatens that they will pull out of the Cup after Jay Shah the secretary of BCCI stated that the fixture will take place at a neutral venue.
Anurag Thakur states that BCCI will be responding to the blackmail by PCB. And will be asserting that the ODI World Cup will definitely take place in India.

It is the subject of BCCI and the board will be responding to it. There will be a World Cup next year also and teams from all over the world will also be playing it.
India cannot be denied in any of the fields of today’s date. As it has a huge contribution to the cricket world. The World Cup will be taking place in India and will be grand and historic.
As per the executive board of the Asian Cricket Council decision Asia Cup will be taking place in Pakistan comes up. However, Shah is the president of the same board of the Asian Cricket Council.
In his statement, Jay Shah says that They will have Asia Cup 2023 at a neutral venue. It’s the government that decides on the permission of our team to visit Pakistan. So we won’t comment on that but on the 2023 Asia Cup. There is a decision that the tournament will be held at a neutral venue.
In response to Shah, PCB says that the comment of Jay Shah has the potential of splitting the Asian and International communities. As well as Pakistan’s visit to India for the ICC ODI World Cup.
And also the future ICC events in India that take place from 2024 to 2031.
