Anupam Mittal, the founder of the People group, made an intriguing observation about Test cricket yesterday (July 23) on Twitter. The Shark Tank India judge advised cricket fans on the social media site to watch the Ashes rather than wasting their time watching the India vs. West Indies Test matches.
This month, test cricket is back in full force. Pakistan versus Sri Lanka Test series is now in progress in addition to India vs. West Indies and Ashes 2023. Fans struggle to keep up with all the bouts since certain sessions’ schedules conflict with one another.
Anupam Mittal shared his opinions on Twitter and stated:
“Watch the Ashes instead of Ind/WI, please. The game that England originated over 400 years ago has been reimagined.”
Yesterday in Manchester, the fourth Ashes 2023 Test came to a close. Intense rain at Emirates Old Trafford prevented any play on the fifth day. As the fourth Test’s last day approached, England appeared to be on top, but they were forced to accept a draw.
“Can we please order some sunshine?” – Anupam Mittal made a weather statement for Manchester
Anupam Mittal praised England’s “Bazball” strategy during the Ashes. He believed that England redefined the sport that they had created 400 years prior. However, Mittal was disappointed that the fifth day of the Manchester Test at Emirates Old Trafford had to be canceled due to weather.
“Can we order some (sunshine emoji) please, what a bummer (rain emoji)? Tweets from Mittal.”
Thanks to yesterday’s tie at Emirates Old Trafford, Australia was able to keep the Ashes. There is still one Test left, and Australia leads 2-1. At the Kennington Oval, the final Ashes Test 2023 will get underway on July 27.
