Anish Bhanwal and Simranpreet Kaur Brar make it to win the silver medal at ISSF World Championship. They make it to winning after going down to 14-16 to the pair Yulia Korostylova and Kaksym Horodynets from Ukraine.
It is a beautiful game of 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Mixed team event here on Thursday. India’s tally to win the medal goes on to 26 after bagging the win. It has 10 gold medals, 06 silver medals and 10 bronze medals in the game.
The team is still in position two as China is ahead of them. The event took off when Anish and Brar were practising shots thought-out the day. The practice took off at the Egypt International Olympic city (EIOC), shooting range.
The qualification stage for the event is a combined 575 and 30 shots each in the game. Stage two of the game narrowed to eight however, there were 14 teams and they could see them coming out on the top again.
The score goes on to 383 out of the possible score of 400. The Ukrainians come up to the second and they are following them to the finals with 380.
During the stage, Rhythm Sangwan and Vijayveer Sidhu become the second Indian to pair in the top eight. The fight was very serious where the fortunes were swinging and during the 15 shots series that gives a score of 16 points.
The Indian pair ties it to the score of 6-6, 9-9, 11-11, and 14-14 before making it to the 15 in the game. He gives perfect seven fives in the game of 15 series.
Sift Kaur Samra shots the score of 585 to grab position seven in the game where in the elimination relay two along with Ashi Chouskey makes to shot 581 in the same relay for the 18th place in the game.
