Andre Adams is named the bowling coach for New Zealand’s T20I series against Pakistan. A successful period of Adams’ coaching career was spent with the Australian domestic team New South Wales. He played a key role in Mitchell Starc’s 2019 form comeback.
In addition, he collaborated with Auckland and the Sydney Sixers of the Big Bash League (BBL). He helped Lockie Ferguson advance in his career.
Adams most recently coached the fast bowling of the New Zealand women’s squad on their limited-overs series of South Africa in October and September of last year.

Andre Adams has been named the men’s national cricket team of New Zealand’s bowling coach for the forthcoming five-match Twenty20 International Series against Pakistan.
After the 2023 ODI World Cup, Shane Jurgensen resigned from his position, and this appointee took his place.
Adams offers a plethora of experience to the position having previously played for New Zealand in one Test, 42 ODIs, and four T20Is.
Adams is going to join head coach Gary Stead’s coaching staff. It also includes Luke Ronchi as the official batting coach, according to confirmation from New Zealand Cricket (NZC).
The New Zealand men’s squad will have Adams‘ first day in his new position in Auckland on January 12. The T20I series vs Pakistan will start on January 12 at Auckland’s Eden Park.
After that, the second and third games of the series will be played in Hamilton and Dunedin, with the last two Twenty20 Internationals taking place in Christchurch.
Simon Insley, the team performance manager, and Chris Donaldson, the conditioning and strength coach based in New Zealand, will take a break during the series.
Dave Meiring is the high-performance manager at Central Districts. Matt Long is the head of athlete development at Cricket Wellington and they will assume their respective positions.
Andre Adams has an excellent chance to help the New Zealand cricket team succeed internationally with this temporary coaching role. Especially in the quick-paced and exciting T20 cricket style.
