Markram, who has displayed impressive agility and fitness, sprinted into the air to dismiss DSG batsman JJ Smuts, who mistimed his stroke. 1. Aiden Markram contributed to Australia’s series decider in the 2023 ODI series between Australia and South Africa. Australia scored 316 runs, with Mitchell Marsh and David Warner adding 34 runs in the first three overs. Markram had to time his jump perfectly to prevent the ball from falling in front of him, sending Warner packing.
2. Mumbai Indians openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan started well, but SRH bowlers maintained control in the IPL 2023 match. Kishan, who consumed 30 balls for 38 runs, faced pressure. In the 12th over, he hit a short ball by Marco Jansen, but Aiden Markram made a spectacular catch, securing the win.
3. Aiden Markram made a miraculous catch to dismiss Australian batsman Steven Smith in a low-scoring thriller in the T20 World Cup opening match. Smith faltered a short pitch ball and was top-edged to the no man’s land. Markram spotted the ball early and made a running catch to end Smith’s innings, bringing South Africa back into the game.

5. In the IPL 2023 match against SRH, KR skipper Nitish Rana appeared to be in control. However, SRH skipper Markram had plans. In the 12th over, he bowled an off-spin against Rana and Rinku Singh. Markram slowed down his pace and delivered an outside off-break delivery, spinning away from Rana. Despite two fielders converging towards the catch, Markram called for it and completed one of the best catches of IPL 2023.
