Scott McTominay, a midfielder for Manchester United, was the highlight of Scotland’s shocking 2-0 victory over Spain in their most recent UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier. After defeating Cyprus 3-0 in their previous match, Steve Clarke’s team has now won consecutive games.

Scott McTominay has appeared in games for Manchester United as a defensive midfielder. However, he shockingly revealed that he began his career as an attacking midfielder. “I was an attacking midfielder as a kid because I like to get in the box. I know I can add more goals and assists to my game, so I have to keep doing that.
The game became sluggish as everyone competed, diving around. It’s troublesome, yet some of the times that is how it must be. When you win, you have to do things like that. I’ve never seen anything like this place. It’s incredible.
McTominay went on to reflect further on his nation’s stupendous performance by saying: “The manager stated that this is our chance to leave a legacy as Scotland players and that these are the nights that people will remember in 20, 30 years. We are indebted to the fans.
