Adrian- Spanish professional footballer. Adrian or Adrián San Miguel del Castillo is the goalkeeper of Premier League Club Liverpool. He is a Spanish professional footballer.
Career
Adrian started his career with Real Betis, Spain. He joined the youth squad of the club.
Miguel made his first debut with the team in 2012. He moved to England in 2013. Later, he signed a contract with West Ham United. In 2019, he joined Liverpool after he left West Ham United. His excellent performance helped the team to win the Premier League title.
Adrian joined West Ham United on 5th July 2013. With them, he signed a three-year contract. Miguel appeared in the league tournament for the first time on 27th August 2013. He made his first clean sheet win over Cardiff City by 2-0 on 11th January 2014.
Miguel was honored with the title, “Save of the Season”. He got awarded for an excellent fingertip save from Oscar against Chelsea in January 2014.
He also bagged the title of the “Best Individual Performance” for the same match. That match ended in a goalless draw. He was also honored as the “Signing of the Season.” He exits West Ham United in the 2018-2019 season. After this, he joined Liverpool in 2019.
He played his first match for Liverpool on 9th August. The match was against Norwich City.
He attended the match, in the 39th minute. It happened when Alisson got replaced due to injury. Adrian played his first Champions League match against Napoli on 17th September 2019. Miguel made a remarkable save in the game. But unfortunately, the match went scoreless.
Personal life
Adrian was born on 3rd January 1987 in Seville, Spain. He started his football career as a striker. In the later part of his career, he transformed into a goalkeeper.
