Adam Harrington – Basketball
Adam Harrington has a full name Adam Philip Harrington, born on July 5, 1980. He is with the Nets as assistant coach and director of player development. He founded Purpose training while working with NBA and NCAA players. Prior to all of these, Harrington even served as the shooting coach with Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2014-15 season.
Born on July 5, 1980, in Bernardston, MA USA, Harrington leads for the 10th season as Head Coach of the Tiger. The Tigers had been a runner-up in the four-state tournaments in the year 2011. They have won four District Champions, one District Runner-Up, four sectional championships, one region up, and three region championships. Under his guidance, 11 members have already received athletic scholarships to play at the next level.
Coach Harrington graduated from Scotts Hill High School in 2003 and B.S. in 2008. He even secured an athletic scholarship at Lambuth University. Once his graduation was over, he began to work for LHS. He married Lauren Price in 2010 and has two children named Kinsley and Paxton. He even served as the assistant baseball coach for three back-to-back seasons.
He began his native career at North Carolina State University. He became the first freshman to guide the team in scoring and earned ACC All-Freshman Team honors. He was sent straight to Auburn after completing the Freshman season and after spending two years with the Tigers. He has also been with the NBA G League, Spain, Germany, Israel, Croatia, France, China, and Poland. He had been on an eight-year career (2002-10) including the stints with Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks.
Adam Harrington has been the VP (vice president), founder, and director of the JEHH Memorial Fund. This organization takes care of families, individuals, and others to assist children in pursuing their dream future.
