Veteran journalist Bill Apter recently speculated on the likelihood of an AEW name filling the post left vacant by Kevin Dunn’s departure from WWE.
Michael Mansury is the AEW member in question. While he was previously referred to be Kevin Dunn’s protégé,
rumors that he was next in line for Kevin’s post were dispelled once he joined AEW.
With Kevin Dunn departing the organization, Bill Apter believes Mansury might return to take the position.
Possibly. There are also a lot of other individuals, a lot of other producers who worked under Kevin, who could potentially fill his shoes but not do the same job.
When I recently watched Monday Night RAW, I observed that there were a lot more video packages than in the past, and they were nicely done.
Apter speculated that the new corporation may be seeking a fresh signature in the manufacturing end as well.
Kevin Dunn’s departure from WWE came as no surprise to Bill Apter
Many people were surprised by Kevin Dunn’s resignation, but Bill Apter was not one of them.
No, it surprised me for a second when I heard it, but then I realized that with the merger, they have a lot of their people over on the UFC side.
And the amount of money that Kevin Dunn, who, by the way, was fantastic at what he did. It was his signature on all of the shows.
When I think about how much money they could be paying him, I worry that they might be cutting corners. That was one of the major points brought up.
Only time will tell what Kevin Dunn will do next after leaving WWE.
