ACC T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 Format:
This ACC T20 Asia Cup 2024/25 features all the teams into two groups, which are “A” and “B”. When we talk about Group A, then it consists of Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A, Sri Lanka A, and Hong Kong China. Apart from these teams, India A, Oman, UAE, and Pakistan Shaheens are under the B group.
There are a total of 8 teams playing in the ACC T20 Asia Cup 2024, and each will play in a round-robin format. Each group’s top two teams will move on to the semifinals.

The ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup is being played in the T20 format for the first time. It is the sixth edition of the Asian cricket event following this format. The 50-over format was used in each of the five previous competitions.
However, when we talk about previous matches, Team India A won in 2013, and Sri Lanka won two matches in 2017 and 2018. The Pakistan Shaheens won the last two matches in the years 2019 and 2023.
In the previous year’s final at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Pakistan A defeated India A by 128 runs to win the trophy.
The semi-finals are set for October 25 and the final for October 26. The group stage matches will take place from October 18 to October 23.
