He is well-known for his creative contributions with the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE). World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently discussed whether John Laurinaitis may expose additional information regarding Vince McMahon.
On January 25, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a complaint alleging that McMahon commanded her to have sex with Laurinaitis many times.
Laurinaitis’ lawyer, Edward Brennan, later told VICE News that his client is a victim of McMahon and not a predator.

Ashley Massaro, 39 years old, committed suicide in 2019. The professional wrestler claimed in 2006 that she was raped at a military post in Kuwait while on a WWE tour.
Despite allegations to the contrary, John Laurinaitis’ lawyer has verified that higher-level executives at the corporation were aware of the accusation.
Vince Russo believed John Laurinaitis would ultimately reveal backstage WWE secrets. But he didn’t expect the former executive’s attorney to say anything just now.
Russo stated that people should have an open mind about claims until the truth is revealed in court.
In the same show, former WWE superstar EC3 recalled what wrestlers used to say backstage regarding long-term employees knowing “where the bodies are buried.”
