The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a two-year suspension on Bangladeshi all-rounder Nasir Hossain. It is for several violations of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code. Hossain, who last competed for Bangladesh in 2018, acknowledged all three allegations. He initially being brought up by the ICC in September 2023.

Nasir Hossain, an all-rounder from Bangladesh, has been suspended for two years by the Indian Cricket Board (ICC). He broke the anti-corruption code of the Emirates Cricket Board during the 2020–21 Abu Dhabi T10 League. He will be eligible to play cricket internationally once again on April 7, 2025.
The Pune Devils team was one of eight people. It includes Hossain, whom the International Criminal Court (ICC) charged in September of 2023. He accepted the three charges made against him in exchange for a two-year ban that included six months of leave.

As per the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit, Hossain’s initial accusation was that he “did not promptly disclose to the Designated Anti-Corruption Official that he received a gift worth over US$750, specifically a new iPhone 12 that was offered to him.”
The second accusation was that Hossain “was unable to reveal to the Designated Anti-Corruption Official every detail of the proposal or offer he got to participate in Corrupt Conduct via the new iPhone 12.”
Furthermore, “he collapsed or declined, without requiring justification, to assist with the Designated Anti-Corruption Official’s inquiry of possible Corrupt Conduct under the Code, including failing to supply fully and accurately any data and/or records asked for by the recognized Anti-Corruption Official (either as part of an official Demand according to Article 4.3 or otherwise) as a component of such investigation.”
Hossain last participated in an international match in January 2018, however, he was still playing domestic cricket as late as May 2023. He has represented Bangladesh in 19 Tests, 65 ODIs, and 31 T20Is.
