36th National Games 2022: Date, Time, Venue, Sports List
36th National Games 2022: Date, Time, Venue, Sports List, The Indian Olympic Association has announced that all 36 sports will be available for competition in the National Games Gujarat 2022.
This move is a part of their attempts to promote the theme of “Sports for Unity,” which is the overarching theme of these games. All 28 states and 8 of the union’s territories are included in this. The Olympic Association of Gujarat, in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee, has devised an all-encompassing strategy with the goal of increasing the amount of public support for the Games.
The Games are being staged once again after a hiatus of five years due to a multitude of issues that could not be circumvented and hence could not be avoided. In each of the three previous iterations of this competition, the Services Sports Control Board has finished first overall in the medal tally, making them the winner of the most medals overall.
A recent announcement made by Bhupendra Patel, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, indicated that the Gujarat State National Games would be held in six different cities across the state between the dates of September 27 and October 10. In the state of Gujarat, the events will be held in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar respectively. Bhavnagar will also be one of the locations.
With the addition of the activities, Mallakhamba and Yogasana to the programme of the tournament for this year, the nation’s efforts to promote indigenous sports have attained another key milestone. This was demonstrated by the Khelo India Youth Games, which just recently came to an end.
