The Australians also hold the next three spots on the list. Steve Smith is the runner-up with 929 runs in 13 matches at an average of 42.22, including three tons and three half-centuries.
Travis Head, Australia’s star in both the World Test Championship (WTC) and ODI World Cup finals, comes in second with 919 from 12 Tests, averaging 41.77 with 155 fifties.

1. Rachin Ravindra (New Zealand)
Rachin Ravindra made his debut on the global stage in 2021. In successive bouts, he showed glimpses of his skill, but it wasn’t until 2023 that he rose to attention on the big stage.
In March 2023, the 24-year-old made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in Auckland. In the Kiwis’ 198-run victory, he scored 49 from 52 balls.
The left-hander also smashed three fours and four sixes in an ODI against England at Lord’s.
Ravindra, on the other hand, saved his best for the greatest stage of all: the ODI World Cup. In the ICC tournament. And he smashed 578 runs in 10 innings with an average of 64.22 and a strike rate of 106.45.
During the event, the Kiwi hit three hundreds. He struck 123 off 96 balls against England in the World Cup opener in Ahmedabad, 116 off 89 balls against Australia in Dharamsala.

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal (India)
Yashasvi Jaiswal took advantage of the possibilities that came his way at the international level in 2023.

In August 2023, the Indian opener made his T20I debut. He hit 84 off 51 balls in his second innings against the West Indies, including 11 fours and three sixes.
Jaiswal also hit a century from 49 balls against Nepal in the Asian Games quarter-finals.
3. Towhid Hridoy (Bangladesh)
In March 2023 at Sylhet, Towhid Hridoy made his ODI debut against Ireland. The 23-year-old was named Player of the Match in his debut ODI after batting 92 balls and hitting eight fours and two sixes.
Until being dismissed by Graham Hume in the 46th over of Bangladesh’s innings, he appeared to be on his way to a century in his ODI debut.
The right-handed batsman backed up his outstanding debut innings with a 49-ball innings in the following match at the same location.
Hridoy also made an impression at the Asia Cup, scoring 82 off 97 in the Super 4 match against Sri Lanka and a brave 54 in the triumph over India.
The teenager struggled at the World Cup but managed a brave 74 off 79 against Australia.
Hridoy appeared in 27 One-Day Internationals in 2023, amassing 727 runs at an average of 34.61 and scored six half-centuries.
