Jadeja’s best performance of his career was when he returned to Test cricket in 2022 After suffering a knee injury in late 2021, Jadeja was unable to play in the second Test of the series against New Zealand. Due to the injury, he also missed the away series against South Africa.
In the 2022 Test against Sri Lanka at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium, the all-rounder made a comeback to the Indian team’s starting lineup. He scored 175 runs, the best innings of his career, in India’s 222-run victory.
