Date and Time of the IPL 2023 Mini Auction: When 10 teams compete to acquire their preferred players from a limited pool of cricketers, including Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, and Mayank Agarwal, in the mini IPL auction on Friday, it is anticipated that there will be intense bidding.
The player pool for the auction has been reduced to 405 players, with the teams taking up a maximum of 87 slots, 30 of which are in other countries.
Chris Morris, a former South African all-rounder, has benefited the most from the mini IPL auction thus far. When the Rajasthan Royals paid Rs 16.25 crore for his services in 2021, he became the most expensive player in auction history.

IPL 2023 Impact Player Rule
Removing a leaf from the development playbook of the Huge Slam Association, the Leading body of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will present the ‘Effect Player’ guideline in the following release of the Indian Head Association too.
If they believe it will be useful, teams are allowed to replace one member of their playing XI during a game.
An “X-Factor Player” in the Australian Big Bash League can replace any player who hasn’t batted or bowled more than one over after the 10th over of the first innings. They must be named as the 12th or 13th player on the team sheet. Even if the player they’ve replaced has bowled, a replacement player can only bowl four overs.
