Amelia Kerr impresses as Wellington triumphs over Otago
After winning the toss, Wellington chose to bat. They only lost the first wicket for seven runs. The captain, Amelia Kerr, emerged as the lone fighter and formed some solid connections with the other hitters.
Kerr was removed in the 18th over after hitting 88 runs off 57 deliveries. Georgia Plimmer and Jess Kerr added 27 runs for the fourth wicket.
