The season opener will be played between Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars at the Manuka Oval, which will be trailed by 55 more matches being played in the association stage. On January 27, 2023, the tournament’s second stage, which includes the Eliminator, Knockouts, Challenger, and grand finale, will begin.
As the BBL schedule was announced by Cricket Australia in July 2022, eight teams, including the Adelaide Strikers, Melbourne Stars, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Thunder, Brisbane Heat, and Sydney Sixers, will compete for the title.
The teams must achieve a position in the upper half of the points table in order to advance to the second stage. In order to get to the final as quickly as possible, the first two teams will compete in two qualifiers. The BBL Live Scores will be a source of excitement for the fans.
Due to the double round-robin format for this stage, each team will play every other team twice, once at home and once away. It’s interesting that the fifth-place team can participate in the knockout stages of the Big Bash League as well, giving them an extra chance. The fourth and fifth-set groups will contend in the Eliminator.
